Natalie Reed, DipHB(KGH) Hypnobirthing teacher.
Hi, I'm Natalie, founder of Birthing Matters - welcome! I'm a mum of two and live in Surrey, and founded Birthing Matters during my pregnancy with my second daughter after practising hypnobirthing myself.

Sam, midwife -
“As a midwife, I have seen first-hand the difference hypnobirthing can make for a woman in labour. She tends to need less pain relief and labour more calmly than without it. Even if things don't go according to plan, hypnobirthing helps reduce anxiety levels and helps women stay in control. All of this is important to a positive birth experience.”

Fliss, mum -
Our sessions have been incredibly informative, easy to follow and engaging. We felt hugely comfortable with Nat as our coach and are now getting ready for the birth feeling confident, calm and prepared.
She has a very calming voice which was very soothing when reading the relaxation scripts. I’d recommend this course to anyone who needs help being guided through relaxation for birth, and who can explain your birth rights so you can achieve the birth you want.
Having an early discussion with Nat to learn more about what the course entailed confirmed that it was the right path for us and that she was the right teacher - she was such a passionate advocate for hypnobirthing, so knowledgable and reassuring, we felt in very safe hands.
Dad and birth partner
Recommending Natalie to anyone who wants help in finding their happy and confident birth plan. After the breathing and visualisation sessions with Natalie we felt prepared for our big day, and we are now equipped with tools that can be used for the rest of our lives.
“The hypnobirthing course with Natalie really gave me the tools to be there for my wife...It really made what could have been a stressful and unexpected labour a very calm and peaceful one.”
